LMT Holdings (Pty) Ltd offers automotive, mechanical, electrical and logistic engineering services and products in the commercial and military fields to local and international clients. These services and products include the design and development (through LMT Engineering), manufacturing (through LMT Products) and logistic support (through LMT Logistics) of systems, subsystems and components.

The company is in its 8th year of business and turnover has increased significantly since inception. In the last financial year, exports to Europe and the Middle East amounted to more than 70% of turnover. LMT is allied with major European suppliers as their South African engineering partner for key SA Army vehicle acquisition programs, and is responsible to these clients in South Africa for design, development, logistic support, testing and manufacturing activities (including robotic welding).

In addition, LMT is the main contractor to the SA Army for the Gecko Products System, used as a rapid deployment logistic vehicle by the Parachute Regiment. As such, LMT is responsible, through its dealer network, for repair, maintenance and upgrade activities of the vehicle fleet.
